We’ve added 6 new pairs to our popular Experts Forecast Currencies Poll: AUD/USD, USD/CAD, NZD/USD, EUR/JPY, EUR/GBP and GBP/JPY. Until recently, the tool included only 4 pairs (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY and USD/CHF). The idea is of course to offer a wider range of markets to the users who trade other pairs than the majors.
A Sentiment Indicator
The Forecast Poll is a sentiment indicator: a pool of selected traders and analysts gives their targets for these 10 currencies for the week, month and quarter to come. They also indicate the whole trend in these periods. The page also includes a visual table for each pair, as well as the comments that the experts might have added to their analysis. That tool gives the traders a view of some market players’ sentiment. It’s updated every Friday.
The contributors of this polls include private traders but also banks and brokers, so the profiles are varied, as for example: J.P. Morgan Global FX Strategy, Adam Narczewski, Goldman Sachs, Yohay Elam, Valeria Bednarik, Anna Coulling, Aspen Trading Group and many more. There are in total more than 30 experts. Why does it only show the Euro? Tried another pair, it defaulted to the Euro.
