Third intake of the Financial Trading Course by FXStreet and University of Essex Online

August 2015 will be the month of the third intake of the online course.

Barcelona, July 3rd, 2015 – FXStreet and University of Essex Online are excited to announce the third intake of their joint online programme aimed at providing students with an introduction into trading and investment. The course, Financial Trading Analysis (FTA), is a short Masters level introduction to finance.  With this programme, students learn about the different types of financial assets, various schools of analysis and trading strategies, as well as have the chance to put their learning into practice on live trading simulators.

After two successful intakes in January and May of this year, the third intake will start on August 25th. Applications are open until August 13th.

The Financial Trading Analysis course is suitable for those who want to progress in the sector or can be used as a stepping stone to move into investment banking or brokering. They will achieve 20 credits at Masters level which can be carried forward if you choose to continue on to one of our business Masters programmes.

This 4-month course is worth 20 credits at Level 7 (Masters Level), which can be carried forward and converted should a student progress onto a University of Essex Online Essex Online MBA or Masters in Business and Management course.

Excellent feedback from students

“We are delighted to have our third class underway,” said Gus Farrow. “Again we have a broad school of students from a variety of backgrounds, ranging from finance, academia, marketing and personal fitness. The feedback we have had again has been brilliant, with our students showing a real thirst to benefit from such an interactive learning platform.”

Here is a testimonial of one of them:

“Before the course I thought I wanted to be a forex trader. The FTA course has opened my eyes to a wider world of trading than I knew existed. The course has showed me that I have not even scratched the surface of financial trading analysis.
I am confident that after the course I will not only be a successful forex trader, but I will have the tools to become a more wholly integrated Financial Trading Analyst.
It was Nelson Mandela who said “Education is the most powerful weapon” who am I to argue?”

Ishmail Rustum, FTA, May class 2015

Carolina May, CEO of FXStreet, declared: “When launching the University course earlier this year, we were eager to see how it would be received. Our mission to keep helping traders make informed decissions was moving a step forward with the creation of the FTA course. Now we are very happy to start the 3rd edition. The feedback has been very positive and is encouraging us to go for more.”
