Celebrating the New FXStreet launch on the beach and with percussion

Last Monday our staff was invited to a surprise event to celebrate the successful launch of the redesign of FXStreet. We all left the office at 12 pm and took a bus to… we had no idea where! After a bit less than an hour, we arrived at a restaurant on the beach with beautiful terraces. We were welcomed with drinks. Very pleasant moment under the sun. Then we had lunch in the restaurant (with sea view of course!)… whose dessert trolley impressed everyone – have a look at the pics!

After that, the real fun came with a Batucada teaching session. Batucada is a substyle of samba and refers to an African-influenced Brazilian percussive style performed by an ensemble. We were introduced to basic rhythms schemes and then split in 4 groups, one per instrument, to practice a bit that repetitive and fast pace music style. Quite entertaining!

Here is a small selection of pictures of that unusual day at FXStreet – move your mouse over the image below and click on the narrow at the right to flip through the album.
